The highest peak of the island, about 590 meters above the sea, can be reached after a pleasant ride by chairlift, suspended over a breathtaking view, starting from Piazza Vittoria or on foot from via Capodimonte and via Monte Solaro.
The descent is easier, lasting about an hour. Before returning to Anacapri, in any case, a visit to the hermitage of Cetrella, so called perhaps for its characteristic plant of Melissa Aurea, the Citronella, with a lemon smell, and to the relative medieval church dating back to the 15th century is a must.
