Great events in Capri with That’s Love: interview with Anna Staiano

Our one-on-one meetings continue with the members of the Association That’s Love Capri, organizer of the homonymous event now a reference point in the cultural palinsesto of the island.

Today we had the pleasure of interviewing Dr Anna Staiano, entrepreneur of the Staiano Group, one of the historical leading companies in the fields of major events, tourism and mobility.

How did you meet That’s Amore Capri?

It was all very natural. With Valerio Pagano, organizer of events and today our artistic director, I collaborate for years. I attended two of his events, the first, Up & Down with Paolo Ruffini, then the one with Mogol, and I must say that both impressed me beyond imagination, for quality and organization; I also work in the field of events, and I could not but appreciate the impeccable work done.

When it was possible to set up the association That’s Love Capri to make these isolated events become a real review, I decided to join without delay. We were a group of passionate entrepreneurs eager to do something to help those less fortunate, and we decided to do it through culture and entertainment; and so this collaboration was born that I am very happy about.

Why did you join the project?

What convinced me most of all is certainly the social purpose of the festival, to have the awareness to work to help people in difficulty. I think it is really significant that a group of friends and entrepreneurs like us show such a strong sensitivity to social issues, supporting the Soleterre Foundation in its mission to guarantee the right to health of children suffering from oncological diseases. We thought to do it by organizing events on our island, to spread a message of solidarity and at the same time cheer the evenings of those who, participating in our initiatives, know to spend pleasant moments doing good to others. Let’s be clear about this, it is important for us to offer a high-level schedule sponsored well in advance, thus becoming an additional attractive carrier for the island of Capri.

Is there a moment in the past that you remember with more interest?

In fact, there are two: the first, already mentioned, is that with Paolo Ruffini and the boys of the company Mayor Von Frinzius, a really touching evening, which was held in the beautiful location of La Canzone del Mare; the second was the show with Biagio Izzo, Francesco Paolantoni and Stefano De Martino at the Certosa di San Giacomo. This event was important and symbolic for us of the association, as it was the first held in the location of the Certosa, which since then every year hosts our main event. All of us members worked so that the evening was run at its best, and indeed it was splendid; since then, every year we work hard to maintain the same standard and not disappoint the expectations of those who follow us with confidence and affection.

What do you expect from this year’s event?

I expect to bring even greater help to the Soleterre Foundation and the children they assist, and a greater spread of the message of solidarity that accompanies our initiatives; I hope for this a great involvement both from tourists and In order to advance the goal of supporting these less fortunate people and protecting their right to health.

What added value do you think the show can bring to Capri?

I hope that our experience can be an example for all those who want to try to make associationism; it would be nice to involve young people, and open up to more diverse target. I believe that only through confrontation can we build and create new opportunities for the island and all those who live there.
