Gastronomic traditions and the triumph of cod: at the bar of the Capannina all sold out

Sold out at the “Capannina Wine Bar” which on 8 May opened its doors to a gastronomic and cultural tour about ancient Capri flavors and the exaltation of cod, in a very successful event promoted in collaboration with “That’s Love Capri”.

In vico San Tommaso, in the heart of the historic center of Capri, at the bar of the “Capannina”, there was a pleasant and intense evening between island gastronomy, tradition, history and literature. A tasting dinner entitled “The ancient flavors of Capri”, particularly appreciated by those present, with exaltation of the miracle of cod and at the same time a dip in the past. To do the honors of the house Antonio De Angelis, patron of the “Capannina”, and Francesco De Angelis of the “Capannina wine bar”, together with prof. Renato Esposito, expert in history and traditions of Capri, who literally guided all in an interesting path.

The success of the event is confirmation of the right choice to organize and promote cultural, gastronomic and tourist initiatives, aimed at a qualified clientele, in periods not of high season, Thus attracting the attention and interest of many visitors who visit Capri not only in the middle of summer.

Part of the proceeds will be donated, as for all events that see the collaboration of “Thats’ Love Capri”, to the Soleterre Foundation.
