The Italian National Singers Team in Capri: Sports and Solidarity

The Italian National Singers Team will be in Capri on April 23rd for a friendly match at the San Costanzo – Germano Bladier sports field, starting at 4:00 PM. The event will see a match between the team of artists, led by president Enrico Ruggeri, and a local team named “Pazzi per Capri”. This event combines sports, entertainment, and solidarity, all in support of the non-profit social cooperative Litografi Vesuviani. The funds raised will support their employment insertion projects and provide housing for young people affected by mental illness. This initiative also symbolically represents care, support, and safety—fundamental needs that many, particularly those with psychiatric conditions, are often denied.

“Our daily work can only be effective if there is a welcoming community, and this event not only allows us to realize one of our many dreams, but also encourages us because it makes us feel less alone,” says Ornella Scognamiglio, president of Litografi Vesuviani.

Gian Luca Pecchini, general manager of the National Singers Team, says: “Young people need to share their concerns; let’s not forget them, they are our bridge to the future. The Italian National Singers Team has always been very sensitive to solidarity issues, and whenever there’s an opportunity to help someone, we never hesitate. We hope to see many of you in this beautiful setting, to contribute to this important and great initiative.”

Support from Givova

The event also benefits from the valuable support of Givova, as explained by president Giovanni Acanfora and administrator Giuseppina Lodovico: “Givova is proud to support, in collaboration with the NIC (National Italian Singers Team) of which it has been a long-standing sponsor, along with the Municipality of Capri and the Grand Hotel Quisisana, this exclusive event for its stunning location, the prestige of the guests, and especially because it takes place in a magical place, unique in its kind, perfect for hosting an unforgettable match.”

Institutional Patronage from the City of Capri

The event is patronized by the City of Capri. “We are particularly honored to sponsor this charitable initiative,” says Marino Lembo, mayor of Capri, “and to offer our support to ensure its perfect success. A warm welcome to the Italian National Singers Team on the island for a day dedicated to sports and solidarity, an indispensable value in the small gestures of everyday life.”

Ticket Sales

Tickets for the match can be purchased in advance at the Grotta Azzurra Travel Agency in Capri and at the Faro Bar in Anacapri.
