The historic beach club was the venue for the presentation of the new collection from the Emilio Pucci brand
We never truly appreciate the importance of things until we lose them. This is a universal truth with which all of us, at least once in our lives, have had to come to terms.
For years, we took many of our blessings for granted, thinking we could savor every moment without anything coming along to take those opportunities away from us. This was the case with events, not just social gatherings and fashionable venues, but also, and most importantly, opportunities to share passions and moments of togetherness, which, suddenly, we had to cancel from our lives.
Today, thanks to everyone’s sacrifices, we can finally fully enjoy these wonderful moments again; we can once again feel part of something without fear, reclaim our spaces of sharing, and rediscover those moments of interaction with others that are essential for our well-being.
Bagni Tiberio decided to inaugurate this important summer of events with a collaboration with the renowned Emilio Pucci brand. To bring fashion back to Capri, once the true fashion capital of Italy, it was only natural to focus on a brand like this, fundamental to the history of style in our country.
It all actually began by chance: the company chose the Capri location to organize the event, receiving full cooperation from the owners of the beach club. In the stunning setting of the Emperor’s beach, the pieces of the new collection were presented, worn by beautiful models. It wasn’t your typical red carpet runway show, but rather an event that, while maintaining the unique style that distinguishes the brand, took place in a relaxed, family-like atmosphere. The initiative that Emilio Pucci brought to Bagni Tiberio had a significant impact not only on the participants but also on social media: the company gained immense visibility, with the news and images circulating worldwide, much to the brand’s satisfaction.
After all, the brand’s connection to the island is not new: Pucci had already opened a boutique in Capri in the late ’40s, called “La Canzone del Mare,” on Via Camerelle in Marina Piccola. It was here that his dresses first gained success, worn by celebrities of the time: from Sophia Loren to Rita Hayworth, from Jackie Kennedy to Marilyn Monroe, and many others. His garments were in such demand that they prompted the opening of a second boutique on the island.
However, when the managers of Bagni Tiberio decided to lend their location to the cause, offering full support for the project, they were well aware that such an event would mainly benefit the island: their work was motivated by the goal of showcasing Capri’s image worldwide and highlighting its true potential. At the same time, it was an opportunity to present Bagni Tiberio as a venue for hosting such events, something never before held at the beach club; this could mark the beginning of future important collaborations.
This initiative also paves the way for a true renaissance of events in Capri. The hope is that these events will bring numerous job opportunities for many businesses in the tourism and restaurant sectors and for new potential employees. In the specific case of Bagni Tiberio, but also for many other restaurants and reception halls, this will be a summer full of weddings.
What difference can a location like this make for a couple looking for the perfect venue for the most important day of their lives? What the managers offer is a traditional and distinctive place, where genuine simplicity is its main stylistic feature: their advice to newlyweds is not to overwork the location so as not to ruin its soul. Thanks to the restaurant, Bagni Tiberio also takes care of the food, offering a buffet by the sea with appetizers and various delicacies. The most popular first courses for such special occasions are trofie with zucchini, seafood risotto, and paccheri with lobster, while the main courses are salt-baked fish or grilled fish. In short, the menu is always simple yet impactful, ending with a delicious buffet of desserts.
