Among the Stars of Dentecala: last event Saturday, Oct. 12, after the great success with chef Arnaud Viel

Yet another, great satisfaction for the Da Tonino restaurant, which since 1993 has been giving its customers culinary experiences based on quality of raw materials, attention to detail and impeccable service, for a new, highly successful evening of the Fra le stelle di Dentecala review. In fact, on September 22, chef Arnaud Viel of La Renaissance restaurant was the guest of honor at a signature four-handed dinner together with Salvatore Aprea.

“We are very pleased with the success of the evening,” says Chef Aprea. “It is always a wonderful experience, for us and for our customers, to compare and have the honor of hosting a top French chef like Arnaud, holder of a Michelin star.”

It was an evening that was organized down to the smallest detail, starting with the sophisticated menu devised by the two chefs: Arnaud Viel proposed Sea Bass, confit lemon, fennel and caviar and Lamb confit, seaweed, iodized sauce, eggplant and kumquat; Salvatore Aprea on the other hand, Octopus, chickling peas, tomato and caramelized onion, Cappellacci di galletto, potatoes and mushrooms and to finish Artemis & peach rice. “The effort put in was a lot, both in preparing the dishes and organizing the event, but it was worth it considering the satisfaction of our guests.” Another key to the evening’s success was the collaboration with two interesting wineries, the Piedmontese L’Autin and the Sicilian I Vigneri di Salvo Foti, whose excellent wines accompanied the dishes brought to the table.

On Saturday, October 12, at 8 p.m., the last event of the review will take place, with chef Giuseppe Iannotti, 2 Michelin stars from Krèsios Restaurant in Telese Terme. “These events,” Salvatore reflects, ”are very useful for me and the guys on the staff to put ourselves on the line, to learn about our limits and to overcome them. Thanks to the comparison, we receive new stimuli that allow us to always aim for new horizons. But they are not only moments of hard work and personal growth, but also of fun and lightness, because overcoming one challenge successfully tempers our spirits and helps us face the next one with greater awareness. Finally, I believe that four-handed dinners are also unmissable occasions for loyal customers, who can rediscover the Da Tonino restaurant in a new light by experimenting with innovative combinations created by the synergy of different chefs, for a unique experience.
